The benefit of an aluminum trigger is it has less flex than a plastic trigger giving you a crisper feel and a lighter feeling trigger pull. The Springer Precision trigger is stronger than the factory plastic part. This fits all XDm models and calibers. It also fit XD .45 cal models. DOES NOT FIT XD 9/40, THE ELITE MODEL, OR ANY XDS.
