These compensators are specifically designed for the XDm to work with factory ammunition and a reduced power recoil spring. Made from 7075 aluminum Class III, hard anodized for a light weight, long lasting compensator to tame muzzle flip and soften recoil. 9/16 x 24 tpi requires .4 to .5 of threads for .40.
When installed correctly, there will be a 1/4" gap between compensator and the slide.
